I am pleased to be working with the Year 9s this year as the Year 9 Coordinator. This term has been a delightful start to the year with many students earning Kalacredits for their focus and engagement in classes! It has also been fantastic to see the Student Leadership group running many fun events for Harmony Week.

As we near the close of Term 1 it is a great time for your child to reflect on how they have started the year off. As Year 9 is the final year of Middle School, it is an important time to build strong study habits.

• Are my worksheets and class notes organised?
• Am I up to date with all of my class work?
• Have I completed all homework tasks?
• Have I submitted all tasks on time this term?
• What do I want to improve on?
• How will I do that?
• What is worrying me?
• Who can help me with that?

I will continue to use the Year 9 Connect page as a means of communication with all Year 9s and their parent/guardians.
