Kalamunda Day: The Great Escape

As part of our Kalamunda Day celebrations students were challenged to beat the clock in our Science Department Escape Room event for 2022. Very popular in previous years, this time around a second theme was added, meaning 2 rooms were open to the keen and scientifically minded.

Escapees had the choice of ‘Elements’ in room SC6 or ‘Glass’ in SC7.

In order to ‘escape’, students had to unravel a sequence of Science-based puzzles, generating solutions to be entered onto a device in order to reach the final destination, all before the clock ran out. (Those who didn’t make it were allowed more time or just released anyway, in the spirit of participation and effort.)

Well done to all who ran the gauntlet, and to Science staff who organised and ran the event.
