Neutality Challenge
Chemistry provides some great opportunities to experiment and testing reactions in the laboratory produced some interesting colours. Combining an acid with a base should have led to a neutral solution (green with Universal Indicator) but we were surprised to find that equal quantities of each didn’t get the expected result. These students (Joel, John, and Ethan) found that a lot more base was needed to neutralize our acid. Can you guess why?
